On behalf of Loftus and Whitby AC, thank you for entering this year’s race.

The race is now full, and we have a waiting list.

If since entering your circumstances may have changed and you are now unable to take part, if so, then are a couple of options:

Transfer your place to a friend or family member free of charge (you sort out the cost between yourselves) – see below for further explanation of what you need to do.
I can offer your place to the waiting list – I will refund your entry fee to your payment card (less £1.20 for the EntryCental fees that we are unable to recover). This only applies whilst there are people on the waiting list. Just reply to this email to let me know.

If you wish to transfer your place to someone else, then the exact method depends on whether you entered via your own personal EntryCental account or as a guest.

If you have your own account, then you should do it yourself by logging into your account an typing in the details of the new runner – I have no access to your account.

If you entered as a guest user, then reply to this email and supply the following information about the new runner:

Forename
Surname
DOB
Gender
Club & EA Number (if any)
House Number & Street
Town
Postcode
Email
Mobile

Please do not give you place to someone else without letting me know.

I will be sending a further email about a week before the race, a copy of this email will be posted here http://nmhraces.net/emails so you can always check to see if you have missed anything that has been sent to everyone.

I have a had few problem with email system today - I think everyone in 5k & 10k got their's but not so for the fun run and half marathon. I will try again tomorrow but in the meantime here is the main points:

Please read the attached document carefully it has all the info required about parking, number pick up on the day, baggage etc.

For those you that live locally, there is an opportunity to pick your number up on Saturday from 10am to 2pm, again at Zetland Park.

If you are unable to run, please do NOT let anyone run with your number without letting me know in advance – I will accept swaps up to mid-day on Thursday.

Please run with your number pinned to the FRONT of your vest with FOUR pins, one in each corner.

Please wear your chip timing tags as shown in the attachment. When you have finished, please return the tags so that they can be reused. PLEASE KEEP THEM SEPARATE AND NOT PINNED TOGETHER when you place them in the basket.

Prizes will be awarded to 1st Man & Woman to finish, followed by the best age graded percentage performances, other than the first finishers (ie no more than one prize per runner) – sent by post.

It is 6 weeks until the Mermaid 10km. I hope that training is going well.

Most runners entered in 2021 or earlier and some may have new circumstances that means that they are unable to take part.

If you are one of those people and you have family member or friend who will use your entry then email me their full details (Name, Address, DOB, Mobile, email address and where appropriate, club details) and will I do a swap free of charge. This facility is available until 13^th April

I you are unable to take part, and don’t a friend to use your entry, then we have people on a waiting list that I can re-sell your place to. There is an EntryCentral charge of 50p to cover their cost of refunding your entry fee. This facility is available until 7^th April.

You will receive a further email update on 8^th/9^th April.
